This blouse is my entry to the "Make it, Wear it Challenge" of Sew Mama Sew. I made it using a vintage sewing pattern, McCall's 7876. The pattern is for a dress but I adjusted it to make a blouse.
Materials:A beautiful Provencal cotton fabric I purchased in Provence, France.
Vintage light yellow Swiss dot cotton fabric.
Muslin for lining.
Vintage lace, bias tape, zipper.
Story:
Cicadas are very common in Provence, France; not where I live, Orlando, Florida.
While I was cutting the Provencal fabric, a cicada stopped by my window and started making its peculiar shrilling sound. I was so excited and amazed of the coincidence that it transported me back to my unforgettable trip to the South of France!
Isn't that lovely?

What a sweet story, and an even sweeter blouse! You did a wonderful job- I love the pleats and the detail around the neckline. Adorable!
